Yeah.. so, check out this guy's nerve and stupidity, I might say.
Mister Iani here that I am deeply ashamed of, thought one day that he should become a great artist.
Having a "keen" eye for browsing concept art or video game art, he took some of the best artworks out there, from well known artists, such as Craig Mullins, Daniel Dociu and also .. wait for iiiiiiiiit... Blizzard Entertainment, printed those incredible pieces(including Diablo 3 concept art..*bitch slap for that) aaaand, organised an expo with them, inviting some of the local art critics.
Funny thing is.. those sharp-nose "critics" didn't even recognize, or realise the theft. How the F you don't suspect an anonymous douche of art theft when you see those amazing professional artworks? Props to you grandpas, you officially suck. Just go to your kitchen, turn up the stove gas, go on the internet, type "www.google.com", search for "ART", press enter, and then die a better man.
Aaand, that's not all. Mr. Iani Papadopol here, organised the event also with the purpose of selling the art. Maybe some other mindless "art-appreciator" like himself would like to show off how exquisite his taste is while he makes it rain on that guy's face. Ka'ching!
I am ashamed of being in the same country with that kind of scum, and must excuse myself and my own artist friends for that.
But, not to spoil anything for you, here's also an article on Kotaku (probably suggested by my fellow romanian artists that were disgusted ).
[link]Cheers guys, may everyone point their finger at that lost sheep and sacrifice it on a burning altar for the gods of common sense.
This person commented on her profile about her art stealing and they were blocked from her profile soon after, so on her art and stuff it's just row after row of "this comment has been removed" or something along those lines. I told her that I knew she was stealing art and now I can't comment on anything
Look at her stamps.
"Call me something I haven't heard before"
"Haters make me famous"
"Your opinion doesn't matter to me"
"Take your trolling elsewhere"
"Take your bullshit elsewhere"
If you don't steal art or anything why would so many people post hate for no reason? Hmm? Are you doing something to piss off so many people?
Ye, it's just all kinds of ridiculous and sad. The fact that until a certain point he kinda got away with it, because the people resposible with the exhibition and our local critics are immensely disconnected with entertainment art, so nobody could stop this before it actually happened.
Freakin' Kekai Kotaki had to post it for people to hear about it and take action. That's a some backwards shit right there and very embarrasing.
Do you know whether he got charged for doing that? Or just the bad publicity?
I hope the art critics also got pulled up on their mistake.
